RiverShack Row: Rowing Boats

Enjoy the river at your pace; fast or slow

Row on the river in one of our hand-built rowing boats.

We have our rowing boats on the river in Preston Park, and in Yarm from the May spring bank holiday;

Row in either place or take on the RiverShack Challenge to row between the two! We're on the river now so come to Preston Park and get some oars out!

Time Out on the Tees

We took our time to choose the best boats for stability, maneuverability and style which means they are light and easy to handle and go where you want want them to.

They're also the best looking boats we could find in the UK; Clovelly boats are handmade by Mike Ivory and his team of craftsmen. Check out www.clovellyrowingboats.co.uk

Have fun, learn a little and get a bit fitter. Rowing is great for upper body fitness and general health - and one of the few exercises you'll be smiling as you do it! We'll be adding some morning and weekend activities as RiverShack develops. All buoyancy aids are provided as part of our full safety briefing for all RiverShack rowers.
